Creative Spotlight!

It's easy to fall into a creative slump and I love finding new creatives who inspire me to continue to create and motivate me to broaden my knowledge of the design world. Here are some people that have caught my eye and deserve more recognition for their work.

Nic is a photographer, videographer, and Youtuber that I met at a design conference, Designation hosted by Princeton University. It’s crazy for me to think that he can balance everything he does while only being a sophomore at Princeton! His quality of work, breathtaking photography, and inspiring travel videos will take him far!

I have to give a shoutout to my good friend Laura! I have seen her grown so much as a photographer since high school. I adore her bright hues, it brings me joy every time I look at her feed. On top of that, she is a #girlboss, having interned at Fox, Variety, and having her own photography business! She has maneuvered the LA life and is making all of us Seattlites proud! I’m excited to continue watching her grow!

I met Marissa at the same conference that I met Nic, and she is probably the most talented designer I know. I remember seeing her take notes during the conference and the next thing you know, she drew a picture of the whole panel with quotes written in perfect typography. She’s a junior at Carnegie Mellon and has already interned at both Google and Apple. Her work is nothing short of perfection and she is one to watch out for! I can already tell that she’s going to play a big influence in the design community!

Kiwi is a fellow Dawg and I remember seeing his sweatshirts take UW by storm. It’s so cool to see that a school project has become his full-time job! He’s an amazing designer and I’m really excited to see his clothing line continue to grow!

Go follow these awesome creators and let me know if you’d like to see more creative spotlights!
