Ladureé Macaron & Tea Shop
While my dad was on vacation, my mom and I decided to take a girl's getaway ourselves, so we drove up to Vancouver, BC. While we were there, our friends brought us to the cutest little tea & macaron shop called Lauderée. It just opened in March and there's still a line to get inside. We waited about half an hour before we got to the front of the line and were able to order our macaroons! We ordered all 20 flavors and brought them to the back of the shop where you can order drinks. I got a 70% cocoa hot chocolate with homemade whipped cream and it was delicious! It was really rich, and creamy and complemented the macaroons really well. Out of all the macarons, lemon was by far my favorite! What I loved about their macaroons is that they 're not too sweet and they have a large variety of flavors. What made the whole experience even better is their decor. The mint, baby pink, and gold accents color scheme made you feel like you're in paris. On top of that, the macaron croquembouches, perfume, and tea, add a nice touch. While I adored how cute the store was, I don't know if I would go back because I enjoy other pastries more than macarons. Though, it's definitely a place you have to try at least once!
